Welcome to Beach Cities Robotics. Our team brings together professional mentors from our local aerospace community with students from Mira Costa High School, Redondo Union High School, and (in our LEGO League team) the Beach Cities.  We are part of the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) family, participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST LEGO League (FLL) programs, as well as the VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) program on a year-round basis.  Through these activities, we stimulate excitement about science and technology in young people age 9 to 18 as we involve them in the only competitive sport in which all can turn pro.
